Hi Twinkalot,
it would seem that citric acid is a poor buffer in your nutes, get some Phosphoric Acid for Ph down, most hydro systems recomend it, should be far more stable
increasing the size of the res may also help if it's a bit on the small side for the number or size of plants you're running.
