Not so much the water pushing it as gravity...
We started with a tube for the drain. Decided it wasn't worth the trouble and just made things more difficult. It's hard to attach a pvc in such a hole - you end up with more leakage. Why do you want to? To make it quieter? Nothing spills without tubes and it's fairly quiet.
The 4" pipe should be fine for smaller plants... Other than that, the design looks good. |
