One mis-nomer

an HID does not penetrate "more" than a fluoro!! I wish people would stop saying that!!!!!!

Light is light. It decays using an inverse square function. Period. End of story. An HID & a fluoro, putting out the same lumens, will decay EXCATLY the same. This is an important point. Don't forget it. Physics is Physics.

In fact, you can make an argument for fluoros if you consider the distance from the plant. Given that light decays in an inverse square manner, a 45K lumen light 2 ft. away from the plant provides the same light as an 11.25K light 1 ft away. Do the math.

Hope this helps.
