I really hate to see people get ripped off by these people. I first saw 95 watt Envirolites on ebay making crazy claims better than HPS blah blah blah.... Light spectrum is what they use to trick you. I admit they might be great for seedlings or clones, they have very little use for flowering. The thought of replacing HID's with fluorescents is like ripping the motor out a Porsche and installing a Ford Escort motor so it runs cooler. (duh!) BTW You can get them at Home Depot here for 30 bucks and they are great seedling lights for that price. These people selling them for 100 bucks are making a killing off of you. The reason they look so bright to you is because they have a mirrored reflector such as a car headlight. Mirrored reflectors are terrible for plant growth, but good for car headlights!
