It is pretty much like a mini bubbler in the way it is setup.
I know I have been calling it an aerocloner but it isn't quite like a true aero unit since the water isn't sprayed out...but the bubbles do burst onto the stems which is a kinda of aeroponic approach.
The cutting sit just above the waters surface and the bubbles burst onto the stems prior to rooting ... Once the roots start to form then it is time to transplant to whereever
I just put them in with plain ol tap water .. no nutes, no pH adjustment (Tap pH comes out 7.0-7.2) that about it. Nothing but water ... since you ar]just intersted in rooting and not really growing. Short pieces of air tubing hold the cutting in place in the lid and above the water

until the roots form.
If the cutting is getting too yellow you can foliar feed with a light mix to help but don't over do it or it will put off rooting
I see roots consistantly in a short time but the longest to date have been the Haze clones which took nearly 3-4 weeks to get any roots at all ... the RS (from the pict gallery) rooted in no time; maybe I saw roots after about 9 days.
Does that help any?
