Lilbuddie, can i clear something up please?
U guys are all talking about airoponics, and/or cloning in such.
I have seen plants grown where there is no water at all, the roots just hang in space and a mist sprays the roots.
Or, there is the bubbler system.
Like a bucket with an aqauium air pump airateing the water.
The latter, I am currently experimenting with , with tomatoes, to see how it goes, and it does good!
Are u talking about using a system whereby u are using a bucket full of nutrient rich water , airiated?
I am very interested, because the way I started the tomatoes in there was to just hose the soil of the roots of some tomatoes bought in punnets , and then pop the roots into a little basket with expanded clay balls, half suspended in the water, turned on the air pump, and voila!
I cant believe what growth they have put on in just one week.
But I didnt know u could actualy clone in such a system, i was worried that the grow wool would create stem rot over time.
So just to clear things up, could u tell me if u are using the bubbling bucket method , to make clones?
thanx
rob
