I would have to disagree, one mans unreachable is anothers accomplished.
I have seen yields of 3.2 pounds per 1000watt lamp, growing huge trees in dripper buckets in 25 gallon drums, they are grown and scroged for 8 weeks then flowered, c02 was used. They are common here in Oztralia, especially in Adelaide due to the permissive laws there. The strain was BigBudX NL#5. This is not a rare or isolated occurence either.

I think in my opinion its around 4 plants per square foot and my grows have almost proven this completley in my mind, i have tried 2, 3 4 and 6 and 4 consistently gave me the highest yield per table. The plant count point you make is very valid though and is a major concern for some people. I use the SOG principle so I go for maximum crops per year...
