Have given them a bout of foliar feed and this seems to have made a world of difference to the pale greeny inside 12 hours. Smokinrav- the plants are ALWAYS totally dry when I water them, I have an oscillating fan which seems to quicken transpiration and soil drying, but I always check thoroughly. The ferts I am using are designed specifically for alternate day use, and my plants are a particularly nutrient and K hungry variety, this, I suspect is the reason for the yellowing and purpling stems. Anyway, apart from the pointy uppy thing, all seems well, nice crystal dusting starting now....haha! Thanks for your input guys, most appreciated! Might get a pH kit just in case.... Virgo- yeah this can be a serious problem when grown in compactive soils, particularly outside, but I've got a liberal amount of perlite in a relatively loose medium, so its probably OK, but thanks for the pointer dude.
