Few q's based on pics. Thanks

Whats growin' on guys? I have a few q's.
1. Should i clip off dieing yellow leaves that are not getting light at the bottom of the plants such as in the pic below.
2. What is the importance of waiting for alternating nodes, just a sign of maturity? What happens if i start a little early and my plants are at about 20"?
3. I read about LST and am trying it but i think i might have started a little late when my plants already had a lot of vertical form. What im now doing is using the LST to open up the plant and expose a max num of leaves. Is this aight?
4. Should i rotate my plants daily by rule, or rotate when they seem to be leaning too much toward my personal sun.

More q's based on other pics below
