Maybe the seeds underwent some kind of gamma radiation treatment while in the post which compromised their genetics?
I'm not sure if they are actively nuking mail routinely or just for certain suspicious/international pieces of mail these days. They may not even be doing it at all, but this was the only thing I could come up with. |
