pretty much a novice at this but have had great success a few times with using 'GE Aquarium LIghts' which last and last without replacement..can't smoke anymore but the PanamaCookie recipe produces wow cookies (i leave pulp in)..i used to pull the males out when they showed themselves to be male..in an effort to get seeds i let all plants stay in for the whole duration, usually 16 weeks or thereabouts...wow, i used to make the cookies from female leaves only and they're killer..hadn't used bud tops until this last tme...i thought i had to pull the males out, pick the female buds at just the right time etc. ... nope, not at all ... i never tried male leaves but i'm willing to bet cookies can be made with any part of the plant male or female...the less potent the green the more ya use to increase cookie potentcy etc. ... anyhow, i now let all plants go and end up with all these wonderful, sticky, oily tops with hundreds of seeds among a few plants...i pitch all the leaves and just use the sticky tops...i put em through a strainer keeping all the seeds, sticking the 'powdered tops' in a bag, stick in the store room for a year or so and then stick em in the freezer i assume will keep forever...and potent as all get out...but remember i just do cookies instead of smoke...3 reasons, for me, smoke is too much for my lungs, mental 'contaminates' less with eating and fuller effect with eating...that's about it...thought you might like to hear about using all the plants instead of just females...makes for double the harvest |
