sometimes you guys..topping ain't so bad. if you've never tried it, maybe you should. just snip the very tippy top leaves with scissors. you don't have to cut 2 nodes or 1 node or anything. just the tippy top of the growth shoot/the top, unless you are planning on cloning the cutting. then you'd want around 4 inches or more, of course. i cut as little as possible though usually. if you've never tried it, you might like it, and you just don't even know. i have been getting away from it and going no training, no topping, no fim, no nothing.. but i am partial to topping over lst because i ain't gonna sit around tying my plants no way/. too lazy when topping is less time consuming and works for me
