Your exactly right. I boil it for so long for two reasons. 1. You have to make sure that the THC bonds to the fat. It may have bonded after like 10 minutes of boiling. But I use a lot of scraps so I do it just to make sure. 2. When I boil out the water it is also just ot make it easier on me. Less water in the pot is less I have to pour out through the cheese-cloth. No real major problem. Do whatever you thinks best.
