Cool noozles, snoozles

imo, the fogging nozzles are difficult to use with a standard aquarium water pump. they don't supply the required pressure to effectively produce the fine mist that they are associated with, but more of a dribble stream. i tried those cooling kits, i used a rio 2100 pump which is quite stout and still new and sorry, nada, noway, it does not work, noway nohow. and they clog very easily too. i've seen other types of nozzles that would work, listed for use in chicken coops, they have a larger port and operate well with low pressure pumps. gotta buy like 50 of them to get a price break, kinda pricy for such a small peice of plastic. otherwise, your only other option is top get a more powerfull pump, maybe a roots or piston style pump, but no aquarium pump has yet to do the job right. but, nozzles from lowes and hd garden dept, work very well with aquarium pumps, and produce a good spray pattern.
