PPm is the parts per million of diffrent minerals etc,what do you collect the rain water in too. I can't reaaly see a problem coming from the rain water itself as long as it's not to acidic or alkalyne.
What type of testing device do you have is it possible the calibration is out?
Thats really fast just a week to already see roots comming out how high up are your drain holes? Roots and light do not mix.
How much bigger is the container your transplanting into?
Humidity still only 50% that surprises me what did the wet towel bring it up too?
How did the roots look when you transplanted?
