jasper is starting to vegetate.

In the past, I have harvested when about 70% of my pistils turned brown. Looking to do it right, I have been watching the trichomes closely. A couple of the buds I now have flowering have almost 100% brown pistils (90-95%?) and yet I see no amber trichomes yet. Mostly cloudy with a few clear remaining. Should I continue to wait or chop it down? The strain is Kevorkian. Hydro. 250W HPS. Now in flushing stage with plain pH adjusted water. Week 8 of flowering.

PS: I bought one of those Radio Shack 'Illuminated Microscope" thingies for $10.
What a piece of junk. My 8X printer's lupe does a much better job. I can't focus the Radio Shack one. It looks like something from a Cracker-Jack box, IMO.
