Ya..I was confused too...
The pictures display N defficiency. And, I do know that planting in pure compost, isnt recommended..Maby you could do it, if you mix it with like 75% perlite..

I dont think the compost is the issue in this case..I was just mentioning it for future refrence..

This is odd...The compost should be giving U plenty of N....

If he doesent show up...I would PM, buzzmobile...He could help for sure...
