Yeah, it is always nice to have neighbors that don't care
Personally, I would say that you should be able to plant them as long as they are atleast a foot and a half away from any plant around them. I don't think the roots should be a problem, but make sure they all have enough room for sunlight and water! Roomy plants = happy plants!
