This sounded like a wonderful method to reduce lost 'Budder.' But there were no follow up posts relating to process effectiveness.
Are there any follow ups readers would like to post now?
Process summary:
1. Loosely wrap trim in a cheese cloth bag.
2. Bring water to a near boil with one or two ounces of Vodka or Everclear.
3. Add additional Vodka or Everclear.
What happens with the THC if the Vodka boils away before you put in the butter? Does it bubble out and escape or does it float or what?
4. Add butter to melt and float on top of near-boiling water.
5. Cool in pan to avoid mixing layers or skim off Budder.
