RainForest 66/318

Anyone have any experience with either of these aero models? Was thinking of picking one of them up and was wondering which one is recommended. The 318 sounds good but it seems like such a small space to have 18 plants (won't they all just grow into each other?). Just have to do a lot of pruning? Any info/experience with either of these models would be helpful.

Re: RainForest 66/318

the people here that use the Rainforest all report to like them -
but the components -- a reservoir, mag-drive pump, tubing/pvc, sprayers, netpots, clay balls are all readily available - other than assembling everything you'll have to make/fabricate the lid to fit the netpots

the model I saw with both a 6 and 18 hole lid added 50 bucks to over US$300 --
that 50 dollars alone can buy a pump and reservoir - the money saved can go to a timer and an EC meter with money left over to get Canna nutes if you can find them.

either way, you'll be ok though.

Malibu's right

Them Rainforest units are pretty expensive. You can build a similar one yourself for much cheaper.
