Question What kind of Glue??

Hi everyone, I'm in the midst of building an Aero cloner. I knwo that if the air stone rises to the top all the bubbles will be wasted,. Just curious hwo you people keep it down, if you do what kind fo glue do you use so it won't hurt the plant matter?

Thanks

hey crmz..

use hot-glue for a temporary stick.. if it's a permanent thang, use some low-voc PVC cement. the thing with pvc cement tho, is that it melts the 2 plastics together so getting them apart will be a major pain in the ass to virtually impossible...... i think the only other option would be to use some aquarium-type caulking...
g'luck

Toxins??

I used normal silicon when I was a kdi to fix a tank. I killed 25 goldfish in a matter of 36hours.. That's why I was asking..

try using zip-tie hold downs with the a sticky pad on the back side. it what i use, but install it only when the surface is dry, otherwise you'll have problems.

Just use the sealant that is made for aquriums. Normal silicon does have toxins in it that will kill fish as you have seen. Just about any Fish Store will carry it
