![]() | Aero's better if you can afford it. Faster growth rate. You do have to pay attention to yer garden though and watch for clogged misters, leaks, pissy timers, etc... "Regular" Hydro: drip, flood/drain, NTF, DWC, um... I think that's it... These are all great learning experiences and require varying levels of knowledge, expertise, and cash flow. Read Read Read and figure which one you can do right...not half-assed. I use regular sprayers in an aero-like setup. 30-90 cycle with the lights on cause the nutrients aren't atomized like with misters ( which would be on with the lights 12 hours). This was economically feasable for me cause I couldn't afford a true blue aero which needs a great pump that's usually difficult to find. Pond style paddle pumps can't create enough pressure for misters no matter how high the GPH rating is! peas

not sure what a paddle pump is, but do have a pond pump , Little Giant makes them, would one of those work?, or how about a pump made to get water out of your boat , small and at walmart i here they are only 17.00 dollars , would this work? Last edited by Big_Brother; 07-26-2001 at 10:02 PM..

![]() | pond pumps are paddle pumps. they work by using a little internal paddle wheel which is unable to produce enough pressure (PSI) Look into large aquarium pumps if you want to do aero. You're not gonna find one for under $50. The $17 pump would work for a flood/drain or drip system, or the quasi-aero I described before P

![]() | WOW Adder! I don't suppose you'd mind giving a little detail on how that pot works. Watering schedule, sprayer size and location, etc..? I'd like to use the info to make a six plant scrog system. Spanx P ![]()

![]() | Yeah I seen it but it's hard to make out the details. I can see a pump that pressumably powers a single sprayer but what's the black housing the pump connects to and how is that situated in the pot? I know it's cheap but I already have all the parts to make one. My main questions are: where and how is the sprayer situated, and what time cycle are they on? Spanx P
