![]() | Ok, I inspected a GH aero 20 inside and out. They dont even use misters, they have a rubber tube going through with a little hole right next to every grow site (net pot grow hole) The spay it shoots is about the same stream that would come from a squirt gun at it full power, also note it shoots the pipe wall not directly on the roots. I asume it shoots the wall so that when it's hits it forms a mist and tiny droplets to be sprayed onto the roots which are right next to the spray. So when I build my setup should I use real spray mister, which I saw for .45 cents and they are ranging from 1-2 gph ???? or should I just use a rubber tube with holes punched in it like the GH Aero 20-60's use???

![]() | Hi Ya Big-Brother those spray emmiters tend to get clogged easily and a tube feed direct to the plants will save all the hassle of calcification also a less powerful pump can be used aswell. Adder.

![]() | Just my .02 Adder's right those cheap .45 cent ones do clog easy. If I were you I'd buy some good heli misters, There more expensive ($1.75ea USD) but they never get clogged. Ive also seen that GH aero 20 in action. With no misters and the water just squirting against the sides, It sounds like somebodys squirtin the side of your house with a high pressure hose, Its really loud. Aerobuds ![]()

I want to check out heli misters, is that the brand?, or what they are? Does Home Depot have them??? The ones I was looking at are made by Rain King. So Mister or GH laserline tube?, is one better than the other or will both produce the same results? thanks

![]() | The Heli-Misters look like a heli-copter blade spinning around, Only with a hose attached to each blade. Heres the link for the company that makes them. Its about halfway down the page. It says 360 degree Aeroponic clone spinner. You cant buy them here, But they do have a list of distributors on thier site. Ive been using them for a while with excellent results. Just make sure you get the larger size, Thier black and red. The smaller ones tend to clog easy. http://www.americanagritech.com/accessories.html#misc As far as which is better, Misters or laser line. I really couldnt say. Ive ever only used Misters. But I know theres other people here who are using the laser line with good results. Aerobuds ![]()

I have one and it works wonders. That is exactly how it works, by jetting the water to the far side of the rail thus creating mist. You can also adjust the flood levels in each individual rail. It is not at all loud, infact I get to sleep with the noise just fine, I find the lights a bit harder to deal with though. The unit is very easy to maintain and me being rather gimpish have come out splendidly. I have 20 females in the Aero20 right now going into their 19th day of flowering. I have aggressively trimmed and topped during the veg state that only lasted about 31 daze. They were getting to be montrous sized. Now the tallest one stands at 3' tall. I did however add some extra aeration to the resevoir as well as an ozone machine for fich tanks to clean the water of bacteria. If you have any specific questions please ask, I am planning on getting another aero unit after the harvest. hope all growZ well out therE... peacE.

![]() | I knew a guy that built an aeroflow when they first came out.He used pvc and black ploy pipe. It still works today. It is large and only cost a fraction of their outrageous price. He runs the pump 2/3 's of the time and keeps the manifold vertually submerged.(to keep things quiet) New pumps can be very efficient. One co I know of runs 10 4by 4 aeroponic units on a 300 watt pump on 4min off 8. the pump uses a spining action to get great pressure not high volume(unlike most of the hydro pumps).
