Heres some more root pics for all you root freaks out there. Notice the roots are all the way down to the nute solution. I suppose there some who would say this is not true Aero. If I trim the roots so they are not in the solution, would that make it "true aero"? The same root mass is still out of the water if I trim the roots or not. My answer is, it's the best of both worlds. If I do not trim the roots, I have a cushion if my pump fails. Either way I have the benefits of aero.

If you compare todays pics to the pics taken on day F1, you can see the growth rate over the last four days. The plants have gone from nine to ten inches tall, to fourteen inches tall. Today is day twenty one in the Aerospring after sprouting. Seventeen days to get ten inches tall and twenty one days to get fourteen inches tall. You do the math and get back to me, I'm dumb. ![]() Time to check and readjust my personal THC level!

As you can see form the pics I have "C" clamps on the lid trying to keep it from leaking when the misters are on. When I had a Rubbermaid tote I never had a leak and never had to use "C" clamps. I will be looking for a Rubbermaid tote and have it ready for the next grow.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | For a couple of years I've been looking for a 32 gallon opaque Rubbermaid tote. I think they stopped making that size. I found a generic 30 gallon at Lowes the other day. It looks a lot like the Rubbermaid. I'm going to throw 30 gallons of water in it tomorrow to see how it holds.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks scrub. I have been considering your growing method. It might not work for your situation but I was thing about two smaller containers to make bubbler's from, which would possible take less water and use about the same amount of space. But I really like the growth rate and harvest wight with Aero. I guess the only extra component is the pump. The pump I use is a 350 gph from Lowe's. It's the same pump we used on the wet saw when I was in the masonry business. I've seen this type pump last a long time and under the harshest of conditions. All pumps will fail eventually, but it's something I have never worried about. With all that said I should go and pick up an extra just in case. Let it be known: I was a brick mason for thirty seven years. I was stoned every day, but I did it quicker and slicker than any of the hundreds of masons I've worked with! So screw you Mr. contractor with you piss test. One of the reasons I smoke pot is because you and other control freaks tell me I CAN'T. ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry, had to vent, out of weed! The plants are starting to show sex. I have two confirmed males and two confirmed females. Three plants aren't showing anything yet. I will cull out the males soon.
