I started my current journal back in, I believe, July 2008. I started the journal because I thought that finally I could grow the darn weed and get a good predictable result. And I felt that I had something to contribute.

But I had male-female ratio problems. I had light time problems. I had transplant issues.

It is almost enough to make one quit. But not quite enough. The next grow will be just great. I'll have all the kinks flattened. Oh and I have some new ideas.

I hope that you continue in your efforts. You have a great deal to contribute.

I would say your nutes could be too old yes.

I dealt with a similar issue in the past. I had some older nutes. The solution in the bottle had turned to more of a crystaline.

Looking at it, you really couldnt tell. But shake it up and let it settle, then you could notice it.

I threw all that stuff away and got some fresh nutes.

You could see a difference in the freshness of the liquid.

You are doing a lot of work with a high risk hobby not to do yourself a favor get some fresh nutes.

You got an awesome setup and from what I can tell, the clones may be dead but the plants look healthy.

Keep on truckin, you'll get it right next time with those clones.

OK... This is really getting stupid at this point. The plants are dormant. They are not growing or producing more buds. It's going on nine weeks flowering and no sign of mature buds. The plants look healthy and green, but no production.
I am convinced it is the nutes. Nothing else has changed. As soon as I can get to the city I will buy new nutes.

Today I went and picked up some fresh nutes. I am flushing the system and starting the new nutes at 1200 PPM.

G.H. flora series.

Using the mix per the label for flowering.

them I was wondering where you have been for awhile and how things were going...

sorry to hear that the girls have gone dormant... i can only imagine your frustration at this point.

on the GH flora bottle i notice that it says "when the product crystallizes to add hot water to remix the solution and use double the dose for the feedings"...

but just got done looking on GH website and in the FAQ it states that the shelf life for nutes kept in a cool, dry and dark place out of sunlight can be kept for UP TO 1 YR...

which to me sounds like it might not even last that long

After forty eight hrs with the new nutes the plants are unchanged. They are still green and healthy looking. Time will tell.

maybe youve just been staring at them too much everyday... they have been flowering since the beginning of may right?

its really weird that they would stop everything in the middle of flower without looking sick!?

Yea Doc, I don't really "get it". I do have some leaves curling down, but I think it is due to low PH. I also have had some dry and discolored leaves witch I attribute to lack of proper nutes.

I have twenty seeds in the bubble cloner/veg...PPM 100

In the aerospring the plants look healthy and green. PPM 1300-1400

We have been having a heat wave here so the temps in the grow room are higher than I like. I am changing the frozen water bottles more often than I had been.

Still waiting to see if the new nutes are making a difference.
