Hi, Them and Doc. Just thought I'd add a couple cents to the conversation.

Them, I find that twist ties from a roll make a perfect hook. When combined with a stick like in your ealier post 384, they can provide good support without the need to untie at a later date.

Nice sprouts by-the-way.

I understand that some wine testers, Doc, can taste aspects of the Earth in wine. I cannot do this but I'm sure that that is exactly what you are tasting in dirt grown plants.

Scrub, I wanted to use twisty ties but had none so I tied them loosely and only one knot so freeing them will be easy.

The sprouts did surprise me.

Lets see now.....hmmmm....dirt weed grown in dirt taste like dirt...makes sense to me. I think I'll stay away from dirt even though I'm older than most of it.

I just purchased some AquaSheild after a recommendation from the Dr.

The next grow will be flowering through August so I think it will come in handy.

I have not used this produce before so this will be a good test for it.

Well......you can call me stupid...you can call impatient....you can call me out of pot!

last night I harvested one branch from the mother plant. I also flushed to tap water with no nutes. These plants are really getting under my skin with their little runt/dormant selves! So I am going to force them to finish flowering or die in the process......after thinking about it (stoned) BOTH!

I reread Daltron's thread last night. That guy was a great MJ grower. Where I'm trying to harvest ounces he was harvesting pounds. I know it has to possible to have those results with aero.

After I flushed last night I added six gallons of tap water to the res. Today at least half the water is gone, the pump is no longer submerged so it burnt up over night.......... So I'll go to Lowes and get a new pump.

Do you think the plants could drink that much water in one night? I figure some of the water loss has to be evaporation. I'm gonna let these girls chill for a few more days and flush the nutes out. Then it's off with their heads.

This grow has by far been the strangest and least productive I have ever produced. I'm hoping it's the strain and not my brain. The strain can be changed but I'm one of those old dogs you may have heard about.

What did I learn today? I need to check my plants more often. It's not the plants or the equipment's fault, It's my fault and the price for this lesson is the cost of a new pump.

man how long did it run dry to burn up??

i had done the same thing a few weeks back in the veg room...
mine had dried up long enough that my plants were almost dead, but luckily the pump kept on pumping..

ecoplus 396 got two... you can find them for $20 online seems like i looked at lowes and HD and the pumps are more expensive, not to mention this is your on the second replacement

I don't know how long it ran dry, long enough I guess.

I'm simply going to have to pay closer attention in the future. But after saying that I did replace six gallons of water. I guess I'll start sleeping with them.

I don't feel so bad after having read some of "Jamesgang's" grow journals. He is a very experienced grower and still had some major problems with some of his grows. Sometimes there is a gremlin in the grow room and nothing can stop him from doing his nasty little job.
