![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey vpur I'd answer that if I thought you wouldn't look for something to criticize. Today's readings are: PPm up to 640. Plants are drinking more water than nutes. Ph is still 5.8 Water temp 73. Adding frozen bottles to cool it down. Plants are growing. I think they are building a root mass as a priority, the roots have grown a lot in the last day.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Here are the latest pics. I just realized today, when I mixed the nutes I used the bloom formula on the bottle, which is just the opposite of the mixture I needed. So I've added more of tne nutes needed to balance it out, but I am not sure the mix is correct. There is signs of leaf damage, I'm wondering if it is nute burn. I'll check the nursery and see what I can see.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Today's readings, PPM 780 after adding more nutes. Ph still 5.8 Water temp is up to 77f. This is due to me having turned the lights back on 24/7. I will need to change my bottles more often.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I flushed the system and balanced the nutes per the instructions on the bottle for vegging. PPM is now 700 Ph is right back to 5.8 I haven't added the AquaShield yet, but I will as soon as I am finished with this post. Which is I suppose now.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Today's readings; PPM 700 Ph 5.8 Water temp is up to 77f. This is due to the flush and water replacement. The RO water at this time is about 80f coming from the dispenser. I'm using RO water from a neighborhood (corner) dispenser, so day time temps do effect the water temp being dispensed. I placed three frozen water bottles in the res to cool things down to below 74f... After changing the res water and reapplying nutes at the correct proportions, the plants seem to be growing at a more normal rate for my system. I will post more pics today. The plants have been in the aerospring for six days, go back and compare today's pics with the others and you will get a more clear indication of growth rate. I think now that I have the correct mix on the nutes, the growth rate will be much improved!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Them, your grow is looking good... much better then the last time around at this point... the new nutes are helping for sure... i was going to say that your res would stay cooler with more water in it till i noticed that the RO you are adding is 80* to begin with, and its hard to see how much water you have in there.. i try to keep about ten gallons in my res, which is enough to keep the pump completely covered.. but the more water you have the less the temp will fluctuate, or the slower it will at least... but your roots look nice and white, with that sexxy tbone structure... this should shape up to be a good one if you stay on this track!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks Doc, I might have been a little rude to vpur earlier but it just seems like he is hypercritical about almost everything. I have between five and ten gallons at any given time. Sometimes my pump is completely submerged and sometimes not. The three bottles pulled the water temp down a couple degrees, I will add a couple more an an hour or so. I've read sprouts and young clones like the water temp a little warmer than more mature plants, so maybe these young plants are getting off on the warmer temps. It sure doesn't look like it's hurting them. I am trying to figure out how many hours it has been since I posted the last pics, so we can check the growth rate. I will post this, check the times and do an edit to post the amount of time between photos...................looks like it's been right at twenty hours.
