![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks vpur, sorry we got cross ways on communication. Today's reading taken at noon; PPM 490 Ph 5.8 water temp 71 The plants are growing nicely, kinda like weeds. There are lots of new roots as well. It's raining here today and cooling it down outside, so I'm leaving the lights on all day. I will have pics as soon as my friend brings my camera back, sometime today.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | them that leaf looks like it has some wind burn on it... if you have a fan directly on it and blowing on high those types off bruises show up.. i had em all over till i turned my fan to med from high looks like it i could be wrong...well i just looked at your leaf again and saw the rust spot... i had that on one of my plants when it was vegging, PESCI told me it was a K def... i just took the leaf off and scanned it in, is this what you are seeing? i have been running Lucas for a couple of weeks seemed easier... dont know if its good or bad yet... i did buy a gal of GH grow right before i switched which sucks.. i still trow in my FF solubles and some LK though, just cuz i have them

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes Doc I think that is exactly what I was seeing. I do have a fan blowing on them. I could move it, but it is already on low. I still have three sprouts left in the veg/cloner. They look great but they aren't growing because of the light and the PPM is only 100. But I think it's a good indication that it's the wind or too much nutes. I think the plants will grow into the nutes so to speak, I know it's not wise gardening but I can't get to the RO water for two more days. The plants are growing really well, I'll have pics soon. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Now I get it. I have a new form of training....it's called SIT UP's...... Simply veg the sprout too long under the florescent light until it's too tall to support it's self, then place it under the big boy lights and up the nutes, and they will just lay right down like nothing ever happened. If the plant starts to stand up like a lady, instead of laying down like a street walking lamp pole leaner, you might consider hooking a fishing wight to the top, or now the end, of the plant to hold it down. The more she resists the bigger the wight. You could attach the wight with a fishing hook, but of course you would forget it, and loose it, and at harvest time you would find it, and then you will come over here and blame me. Just cut the barb off it will ya? And after about six weeks of heavy training, you realize the other plants are shading out the trainees and you say to yourself.......that was some damn good hash I just made...y'all should come on over to the hash threads and check it out. Can't you see I'm FUBAR (fucked up beyond all repair ) Pics are up next!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I recently have lost interest in any sort of LST. I know its practical to use in certain situations, as I still use it in my cabionet to a certain degree. I believe that training takes a lot more time then its worth, both by you and for the plants. I would rather just churn out multiple crops over the year vs training a couple of crops for the perfect harvest. Thats just my ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I agree, I used to do some training but not any longer. The "sit up" training was a joke between scrub and I. I have plenty of head room so no need to train.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | wow Them you have great looking root growth! you are doing a really good job giving more attention to your grow... the almost daily updates are awesome! keep up the great work and you should be well repaid. the picture i had there is of a possible K def... i thought i might of seen that red on your leaf, its hard to tell with the hps glow... but the finger on the right looked like it had the "rust" spots... the yellowing did seem to be a wind burn which you agreed with..
