![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey Them...love the "journal"... took me two days, but I read it all. I am working on pulling together a system based on Scrub's original design...with a few mods. Keep up the great work. Scrub... sorry I lost that other thread... but I know you'll turn up here sooner or later, so thanks for the info.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The water level has dropped, pushing the PPM off the chart. My meter goes up to 2000....the PPMs are over the limit. Added three gallons of RO water. I will have readings after the res mixes for a while. Last edited by Them; 08-24-2009 at 12:05 AM..

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | After adding more nutes the PPM is 1250. I'll be adding more nutes tomorrow. The water temp is 63f The plants are starting to show bud formation. I still have two plants slow to show sex. I'm sure one is a female but not positive about the other. After three and a half weeks flowering I think it should be showing by now. I might need to cull it anyway cos I need the space for the plants which are going to produce.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I culled the last plant today. I now have four females in each corner of the tote. This is what I usually shoot for. I haven't taken readings yet, I will post them after I add more nutes and let it mix for a while. I have raised the lights as far as they will go. These are the tallest plants I have ever had. The shortest one is looking like it will be the best producer. I'm strongly considering taking some clones from that plant.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I had to flush the rez after repositioning the plants. Added back five gallons water w/nutes. PPM was 650. Added 50 ml. bloom and 25 ml. micro. I'm shooting for 1500. The plants are showing no sign of nute burn after the PPMs went off the scale. I figure the PPM to have gone up to 23/2400 when the water level went down. Now for the pics. The branches tied to the wall are the left and right sides of the same plant. I only have the twisty ties loosely attached to the branches, and will keep a close eye on them so they don't damage the plants. Two of the plants are showing sex in a major way. They are the two in the back of the tote, next to the wall. The slow to show girls are in the front hanging by a thread.....the...orange..string, holding the plants and keeping them from tipping out of the tote. These two are the biggest and the smallest plants left.

I took five clones from the plant with the nice looking buds on top of the plant. I like this plant cos it didn't stretch as much as the others. It is naturally more bushy and healthy looking than the others. I think it will be the best over all producer. I still have the seven other clones in the veg/cloner, they are doing fine, even with warmer rez temps. Only one is still under a humidity dome, it still doesn't have roots growing out from the rock wool, but it still looks healthy. All I do when I take a clone is soak a one inch rock wool cube in the rez for a few seconds until it is saturated, then place it in the basket with some grow rocks. I cut the branch on a sharp angle about an inch to an inch and a half below the first set of large leaves. Then I gently shove the cutting into the rock wool, cover it with grow rocks, and place it in the veg/cloner which is a basic bubblier. That's it...no cloning jell or formula...nothing fancy, and it seems to work almost every time. I use the formula on the GH nute bottle with the PPM at 200.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks scrub, The tallest plant is about 4'5" tall. That is as tall as I wanted them to get. I don't know how much more they will stretch.
