  | I'm thinking about cutting back the lower branches. They are long with very few buds starting on them. I am interested in peoples opinion on this. Should I keep the under growth for hash production, or trim these branches so they are not wasting water and nutes. Please voice your opinion soon as I might stare cutting back tonight or tomorrow. | In flowering, I cut back lower branches that look like suckers. I think that it is a good idea.

| Yeah I went ahead and cut back a lot of the lower - non producing branches. It did not effect the canopy since these branches were never going to reach the light. | ||

| After checking other grows...I am not happy with the bud production at all. Tomorrow will be six weeks flowering and all I have are tiny little buds. And the branches are still trying to stretch. I wonder if using the Lucas formula is the cause. | ||

| The Grow Journals are a great resource for comparing and contrasting. Thank you, Garden's Cure. I hope that you resolve the bud size issue. I regret that I don't have any ideas to help. Have you grown this strain before?

| No scrub, it's just bag seed. I still have two or maybe three weeks to finish flowering. I'm hoping the buds will pick up production by then. If not I might switch to a different type system. | ||

| My Aquasheild is supposed to arrive today! When it does I'll be dosing the res. We will see if this will help with bud production. If not maybe I just had bad luck with the Tex/mex strain. | ||
