Home Made Aero V2.0
permalink

Good Day All,

I was a member here a few years ago and due to security a name change was in order. I lost my Aero set up and just now am able to rebuild and start over.

I'm using a design which started with stOny some time ago. I don't know why it didn't catch on better than it has cos it's a really great system. A user named Scrub and I used this system and had much success with it. He has great design pics on some of his older threads if you care to check it out.

I would like to invite all interested readers to join in and comment as often as you like, be it positive or negative, I can learn from both.

I must take a few minutes to adjust my personal THC level and then the fun will begin...again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Them,

DIY would be "Do it yourself".I am interested to hear more about your set up.I think I remember Scrub.I just became a member but I have read the post and archives for a while.

I'm interested in commenting haha I was wanting to go with a hydro aero hybrid deal but for now have stuck with DWC until I get some better ideas and understanding of aero. I have some components for a small system which is all I need anyways ( fairly small cab)

Welcome shellrivergrove and Biorhythme,

Yes this is a do it yourself, home made Aero system. I have used it in the past and it has worked really well for me. I suppose one could call at a hybrid as the roots will some day grow long enough to reach the res. Until that time it is a true Aero setup.

shellrivergrove, I will try to describe the system as best as I can, and will try to have pics asap.

But first I will gather my toys to list here and stabilize my personal THC level.

Well right now I have two plant sites and will just veg until maturity. I have a 10 gal sterilite container which fits perfect in the cab. I have a single node fog unit ultrasonic type with teflon coated discs, and also have a small DC fan with adj speed. All components from nutramist type unit. Are these components that you would rec.?

Yep I used alot of the similiar when tinkering with fog.Are you using the 10 gallons res to grow with or for the fog?The reason I ask is you can used alot smaller container for your fog unit and send a 1/4" line to your main res. to keep it filled. If you are going to supplement feed with fog you can support more plant sites out of the 10 gallon res. than normal. Are you leaning toward Hydro or aero.Or did you want to use the fog set up alone?
