Use the same nutes that you'd use for hydro.

Change the water often, every 5 days max for clones, I'd say every 7-10 days for rooted plants.

Rockwool, sure, I suppose, but why? I guess you could just jam the rw cubes into the tubes or whatever you're using. I suppose you could also do this much larger scale and use net pots filled w/ geolite too...

After reading the posts in this area I'm going to try to build an aero system for cloning and hopefully the entire cycle(sea of green?). Just a few quick questions.

What kind of nutrient cycle do you go through for the water?
How often do you change the water and how?
Would it be possible to build a system that would work from rw cubes and not have to be upgraded to larger cubes(roots down into air/water)?

Ideally, I'd like to start the clones and never transplant them out of the system.
Do you just pick up the water bin and dump it out or do you pump it out?

well, if you're using a system like I use, you won't have/need a submersible (water) pump, so you just dump it...or if your res is too big, you could kinda scoop it out w/ a bucket or whatever...or if it's off the ground, you could siphon it off
