well my leetle fat farmers..
i was taking a stroll through the hydroponic store today and came across a pretty cool aeroponic setup that one of the hydro plant ppl had custom built out of cheap materials the store had.. so i decided to take advantage and build myself a little aeroponic system for my veggie chamber.. the actual veggie chamber is 29"wide x 36" tall x 23 3/4" deep.. im gona have a 250 watt hps or mh lighting this lil area, and my new aeroponic system on the bottom.. it's 2 rows, 4 holes in each row each spaced 6" apart, with misters that go and shoot both directions onto the roots.. the only thing i couldnt find was a reservoir that didnt waste vertical space that fit in my veggie chamber.. this is where i need help/ideas.. i need a reservoir preferably maximum 6" high, max 2 feet wide max 23/34" long.. looking for 5-10 gallon if the area description i just said will allow that.. im stumped, best thing i can think of is to go to walmart looking for a random tub or something... but id like to get a possible lead on a reservoir that fits my description before i go on a wild goose chase.. also, they say i leave the mister things on 24/7 .. is this correct? seems wierd that the roots never have a drying phase..

forgot about that ..

plexiglass is really easy to work with or if you are paranoid about breakin it, lexan/polycarbonate is just a touch more expensive but is Very Very Very tough, weld-on is the type of glue to use ..i forget the number but the plastics guy will know..

[shot 2 samples with a bb gun both 1/8" plexi and lexan plexi shattered, couldnt break the lexan even with a hammer, just bent it]

ohyea, 1/8" lexan for your size res would run you 5-10$ i think ..

good idea thank you.. although im not too sure about the color of plexiglass.. guess im looking for something dark colored to avoid algae growth in there, black or green..
maybe the plastic shop has a darker lineup to cutup for me. thx again for the input.
i think i'll end up using jb-weld for those type of applications.

plexi is availible opaque, lexan can be painted with r/c car paints [specially formulated to bond to lexan] not sure if its availible coloured..

p.s. put any paint on the outside of course..
