![]() | Well, there have been a few posts in this area that have asked, "where are there good resources on the Internet that explain Aeroponics..." Well, I found one. In actuallity, this topic *could* be posted in Hydroponics as well, but what the hell... those hydro people ought to be crusin' by this forum to learn... Anyways, here is the site. They offer a "booklet" that supposedly goes into *great* detail on hydro and aeroponics! I'm going to take the plunge later tonight and buy it when I get home from work (yep, I'm at work and browsin' hempcultivation.com) I'll let everyone know whether it's decent enough to spend $20 on. http://www.howtohydroponics.com doob

![]() | No, not spam. I did get the book. 71 pages of very informative substance. I have read everything from it and in two days have learned more then I have learned in the past two weeks. The site is split into two sections. The booklet can be found in http://www.howtohydroponics.com and the store can be found in http://www.futuregarden.com/store.htm I just ordered GrowRox, Net Pots, and Perfect Starts from the web site. They have reasonable prices and a professionally put together site. I assure you that this is not spam. The booklet covers *everything* from lights, C02 injection, climate control, to three different plans to make a small hydro setup, aeroponics setup, and a larger hydro setup. All very well thought out and *extremely* informative. I recommend the booklet to any novice! doob ps - lilbuddie, thanks for stickin' up for me I hate spam as much as the next guy and this would definitely be the last place I would administer it. I've been gaining knowledge from this web site since September of 1999 (when it was only marijuana.com) with over 120 posts, I wouldn't jeopardize my membership after all of that...[This message has been edited by Doobious (edited August 05, 2000).]

![]() | The Phototron worked great! I must say, from seedling to flowering, the plants always looked very healthy - the fruits of my labor were well worth it! I have one plant growing right now in soil (outdoors)... not good seed, but I just popped it in the soil - didn't even germinate it properly - and it's growing, but not with the vigor the Phototron babies had. Now, I'm trying new means of growing... I'm trying to achieve a "greenthumb." I will be converting a workshop room into a grow room for an assortment of different fruits, vegetables, herbs, and once in a while a chronic strain of MJ. I've been reading about Aeroponics and Hydroponics and I think I'm going to try to build one of those Deep Water Culture bubblers... try growing tomatoes first, then try my hand at some weed. Really, I'm starting out small, but plan to work my way up to a decent grow room. Keep in touch, doob

![]() | I too ordered this PDF off their site a few days ago. It has changed my mind about hydro vs aeroponics. I'll be building the aerospring this weekend. The "book" has good plans for three different types of hydro systems. Future Garden could give this away as they are a good source for the materials needed for any hydro system. For $20 it was worth it IMHO. K9
