I am wondering if any of you aero-folks know the pressure and GPH of the pumps and the GPH of the atomizing nozzles on both starter/cloning and full grow set-ups?

Epicurus, Lilbuddie, HydroGrower
I know you know the answers to this one.

Thanks in advance
MM

Howdy Mr Monster

Nope I sure don't know ... I haven't had any time to look around for ya either but I do remember seeign a few names floating here and there ... I will try to search around for ya when I get a chance .....

Did you try just doing a general search on the web?

I think Epicurus may know but can't say for sure....

I use a medium size aquarium pump and a flexible bubble curtain for my clone rooting ... works like a champ

milleniumbud is beginning to sprout.

It really depends on your budget what the pressure and gph is.

Pressure pumps are very pricey. You'll need these if you want to drive a REAL aero system. This enables you to produce a very fine mist for the roots.

GPH pumps are standard aquarium stuff, easily substitutable in this application. The only difference is that you will be approximating the effect with these regular pumps. They will not drive a mist nozzle. You'll just be spraying the solution on the underside of the top cover of the unit to
disperse it.
This doesn't require a special pump.

Pumps are rated in gph, height, or pressure.
The ones with more pressure are most expensive.

AFOAFOAF got the little giant MD series. Great features and still under a hundred bucks. Fan cooled, I think magnetic drive. This helps to not transmit heat to the nutrient solution. Plenty of gph. good pressure/price ratio. Standard fixtures fit pvc fittings. 3 prong ground.
very versatile.

If you want to drive a real fine mist, the price for the pump is prohibitive. if you can figure out how to get the same/similar effect using top feed or bottom spray with less pressure, it'll be easier on the wallet.

Most affordable pumps will produce 5-15 psi pressure.
most misting nozzles demand 35-50 psi.
this also costs you in power used to create the pressure!
