| So I am wanting to get started and I have a couple of questions about CO2 enrichment. 1. I read somewhere of someone using yeast to increase CO2. How much CO2 does yeast produce? How big of a bowl would I have to use to get any benefits? 2. My second question, which does apply to aeroponics, is, can I bubble CO2 or a CO2/Air mix through the pumps? Can plants absorb CO2 through their roots? Has anyone tried this? Thanks | ||

| I haven't read anything about ppl using club soda and spraying it on the leaves. Just wondering why. Its carbonated water. Just spray it lightly on the leaves. Another thing to boost Co2 is to get some dry ice and break it up into small chunks. Place them in small containers with warm water and place them under the plants by the stem. The water will melt the dry ice and release Co2. Those are the two simpliest ways I can think of Co2 Enhancement without having to make it out of sugar, water, and beer yeast. | ||

![]() | Hey C02 is heavier than the average weight of our atmosphere. Why does that matter you ask? Well placing your CO2 output under the plants wont do much good for them unless you use enough of the gas to fill the whole room. Place C02 *above* the plants so that they can soak that sweet gas up. `will | ||
