![]() | Hello, I am building a aeroponic chamber ( the type insanek9 shows in the picture board). I was wondering if it would help to drill a hole in the plastic and hook up a plastic milk carton + yeast + sugar + water C02 setup that has a tube going from the milk carton directly into the chamber. I don't know if the roots can absorb a lot of CO2 but I presume they can. I am going to be growing tomatoes out of my aerponic chamber for now until it becomes less of a new thing and my dad forgets about it. Then I will plant some weed. If you guys think this would help to grow plants, please tell me. Thanks ![]() | ||

Check out this article at Maximum Yields: Under the "The Aero-hydroponic Method" section i found this little nugget of info: "Only the green parts of the plant can form oxygen from carbon dioxide - roots require a supply of oxygen for metabolism and growth.
