help using aeroponics??

when using a aeroponics system how long everyday does the nutrients spray into the plant? like how many times a day or is it 24/7?use a mist spray right? and how far down should the water be from the pot?

The mist should be hitting the pot enough to keep it wet.

You can leave it on all the time or add a cycle timer - I think a lot of people with timers run at 1 min on, 4 off. There are arguments for both ways. I've been trying a cycle timer run through x10 (computer control system) recently. We ran it 24/7 before. Doesn't seem to be much difference.

so it would be ok to leave it on 24/7?
what about the water level how far from the pot is the level?and the air pump oviously should be on 24/7 too right?

Air pump 24/7.

The water level just needs to be below the sprayers, doesn't matter where.

24/7 on the pump is fine.
