What are aeroponics?

Um I dont know what aeroponics are can someone help me?
Is this better than hydro or bio?

Better is a personal opinion, but I have seen aero results with basil that will blow your mind (or maybe just mine)
It's a method of hydro, there iss another thread somewhere called Aerojet which has a description in it.
