![]() | NSW is officially "just think about it". But I contacted the guy that sat as chairman for the cabinet commitee {proffesor wayne hall}, and the inside word is , that it should go through. Then I contacted the NSW law reform board, and they are hoping for the change to go through this year sometime. Before parliment breaks up anyway. Whenever hat is? rob

![]() | Sorry mate, I missed the last bit. If u mean the time for bubbling as in when do u have the air pump running; yep all the time. I only have two light regimes, flat out 24 hours, and 12/12. If you're going to have that many fluoros, are u going to put some on the sides of the grow area? rob

I see a lot of mention above about aeroponics, and I thought that it should be clear. Aeroponics is different than these DWC bubblers. Aeroponics utilizes a constant spray of nutrients water over the roots, which are not suspended into water. All the water comes from the sprayers. These DWC bubblers are a hybrid aero/hydro system, but they work more like hydro, so they are not giving anyone accurate demonstrations of what aeroponics can do. And with that, ... | ||

![]() | I'm not sure what to do about the plastic, because the plants I have in dwc where bare root plants. I washed the soil off the roots in warm water and mixed the roots in expanded clay balls, and put the lot in a warm mix of nutes to reduce the shock. Phantom might be better to mention what he thinks as he has put rock wool in dwc. I'm still thinkin about it. But I imagine I would cut it away, but that hasn't been tried by myself. rob

![]() | If we're talking about the plastic around the rockwool then I leave it on as doesn't do any harm but does give the roots extra encouragement to grow down to the nute solution rather than out....Mind you I don't think taking it off does any harm either so perhaps it's just a personal choice thing...Once the roots hit the solution the only purpose of the rockwool and clay balls is to provide stabilization for the plant as the water level should sit down below your netting pots anyway.... *Side Note* Plants are really cranking in the DWC....Just waiting for seedlings (more like miniture plants now branching on branches while only about 15cm high) to show some alternate nodes then throw them to bloom and suffer the long wait....Thank god the clonies will be ready soonish as I'm getting really sick of smokin kiff....
