![]() ![]() | Well i've been reading a lot about aero and hydro setups. I couldn't think of anywhere else to put this so it's goin here, you can move it if you want. I couldn't find any plans for an aero or hydro set up so i decided to do this.. I've been thinkin for a few days, and came up with this. Im gonna take a 5 gallon tupperware container and run 1" or 1.5" pvc along the top of it, hook up some water pumps that run from the pvc to the basin of the container. then im gonna run some air lines through the pvc. In theory this will pump water from the basin of the container through the pvc, while the water is constantly moving, there will be air pumped through it too. In my mind this will work good, but how bout some extra advice, when i get it made ill borrow my g/f digi cam and show ya some pictures of this system that i made in my mind over a couple weeks..peace to y'all peacefully smokin, Sell_R | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() | make sure that the tuperware container you are goingto use is not clear plastic. you want to keep light from reaching the roots. second, running an air line thru the pvc pipe might cause it to spray erraticly if not, you might even pump water to your airpump causing it to "short" out. the water pump is much stronger than an air pump. i believe that an airstone/wand might prove to be better if place at the bottom of the reseviour. i know that most pumps can take in air ,venturi style, but the output of the pump has little or no restriction. but when suppling water to a nozzle or series of nozzles, builds up back pressure, and will overpump the small air pump, even with checkvalves! Peace! LRX
