originally i planned on ordering some seeds and starting a grow dedicated to buds. then i would start another grow dedicated to seeds. my concerns were pollen getting on my clothes, my cat, and most importantly my future females! budz4me gave me alot of helpful info. since i would have to make him look stupid on my account, i decided i'd past exactly what he said.

"Males should all be chopped before they pollinate if you want to use a male for pollenation cut all but one flowering branch and put a baggie and a gumband over it to keep the pollen in and then put a little in another baggie and put it on the female branch you want to polinate. You do not want to pollinate all your plants. They will concentrate on making seeds and not THC."

this sounds like a great. any other suggestions?

Plastic bags are not generally recommended for collecting- they trap moisture, and can sweat.
Thin paper works best- like the long white bags fresh bread comes in? Air can still flow.
If you are serious about breeding, pick up a copy of Robert C. Clarke's "Marijuana Botany"- it has detailed instructions and drawings to illustrate collection and pollenation techniques.

Just something I read in one of the many grow book's that I have. I felt better to lose the male pollen, you can always get more pollen and heard that it was effective so I thought I would give him advice. Also with the air circulation I was afraid of unwanted pollenation.
