![]() | I have been thinking a lot about how seeds are actually feminized. There is not much info out there. ![]() This is what I found at Dutch Passion: 1. a higher nitrogen concentration will give more females. 2. a higher potassium concentration will give more males. 3. a higher humidity will give more females. 4. a lower temperature will give more females. 5. more blue light will give more females. 6. Fewer hours of light will give more females. It is important to start these changes at the three-pairs-of-leaves stage and continue for two or three weeks, before reverting to standard conditions. Ok, raise nitrogen, lower potassium, raise humidity, lower temp, blue light spectrum, fewer light for 2 weeks. Still, what are the chances for all female seeds?

![]() ![]() ![]() | If you read far enough it is explained. You really can't talk about producing female seeds without talking about hermies also. Until you learn the differences between types of hermies, all the discussions will go over your head.

![]() ![]() ![]() | You do realize that when measured incorrectly (even if off by a tiny bit) you will ruin your whole crop? And I'm curious how you found that one in a hundred pure XX female?? Here's another link you might find interesting.

I am not SURE if I have a xx female, I am sure it is much less than 1:100, that does not sound realistic. That was a good read, and I'll have to try that method to find a xx female as he calls them. Most of that "interview" was rambling. Seems to me he is trying to make it sound more complicated than it really is, and he even admitted that he didn't want to tell them everything (that's BS). From what I understand from that article is you basically stress the plants until you find one that is stable, then force it to produce male pollen sacks.
