making an "Early" strain

How do you go about making a strain Early or fast flowering?

for example, I have 3 blueberry, unsexed, and 2 top 44, male
I was thinking of picking the best male, my criteria: fast growing, first to flower, "normal" leaves and development, and the best female blueberry.

blueberry, flowering time is over 50 days, top 44- self explanitory

assuming the tastes don't clash too much, would this be an effective way of making an early strain?

I'm shooting for a mostly blueberry strain. all I really want from the top 44 is the flowering time.

This is just an idea I am trying to understand and learn breeding..

If you breed the BB and 44 then take that offspring and cross it with a BB. Then you should have a mostly BB with a somewhat shorter flowering time and most likely a strong BB taste, which I love.

BB is mostly indica isn't it? that should already give it a shorter flowering time.

You could get hold of a ruderalis plant from Sensi and use that for breeding as most others have initially. The other way is the way you are approaching the task by using known fast varieties.
