Out of 5 seedlings on Jan 6, I am down to just one female, 3 males have been smoked, the fourth is growing nicely in a separate room and has even given a small dust of pollen last night. I've been planning on pollenating just one branch of a strong female as this male appears to be quite healthy and vibrant it also appears to be very heavy sativa as all leaves are very thin, very very thin. 2-3 days ago I noticed white hairs growing from the main cola and from 2 grow tips, I have over 16 grow tips on this plant, resulting from training. My question is, If I use the pollen from this plant, will I be risking that all seeds will result in hermies or even a high degree of hermies? If so, I don't plan to waste any time with it. I have about 100 seeds of unknown origin and a variety of ages. Fresh seed would be nice. A reply or direction to the answer would be appreciated. Thanx Igottabebad | ||

 | Hmm, Couldnt be too sure on that one, You should just go ahead and try it, it wouldnt be wasting your time, you would be learning something.

| that would be true - a lesson learned is a lesson learned - Just from the past 3 months of growing - currently have 1 in 7 weeks in flower with anothr harvested this weekend - I have learned more about this wonderful plant than I ever thought possible - been smoking for 20 years - Damn well wish I had all the money I've spent on something so simple. Thanx fer yer input. Believe I'm gonna start a grow journal with this project. Igottabebad | ||

| Yes there is every likelyhood they will be hermaphrodite plants. A search on hermaphrodites or hermies using our search engine will reveal a whole heap of threads that discuss the matter at length....
