Question what to do with my male(s)
permalink

my current grow has produced all males

to make the most of the situation, I'd like to save some pollen from a nice looking skunk #1-

he's just showing a few pre-flowers now-

Q: can I sustain him in a separate room with little or no light long enough to get enough pollen to collect and store?

I want to get started on some females to breed him with, and need all the space in the grow room.

does it take the same to grow good balls as it does to grow good bud?-- does he need to stay in the flowering chamber, or will he grow more balls no matter what?

Pollen doesn't keep much beyond a few days in most cases, I have never had any success storing, freezing it or any of the other ways people claim to be able to extend its life. Pollen is prone to bacteria immediatle, it doesn't survive well so you would need to find a willing female in the same timeslot as your pollen availability and viability.
