I think so, when a F1 hybrid has had many years of inbreeding, they usually become a "pure" strain eventually, and could be used to create F1 hybrids.

I was very confused when they ( FlyingDutcmen breeders ) told me this, i also asumed that two different pure strains only produced F1 hybrids, never knew they could become a pure strain.

And being the smoker i am it is easy to confuse me sometimes.

Skunk#1 has problems with stability and any resulting cross from my experience usually carries this inherent instability. Crossing skunk#1 parents to produce seed is ossible but with this strain the variance within the resulting cross population is usually quite high.

OzGrowa.... i can not agree with you, the skunk#1 ( from The Flying Dutchmen ), is one of the most stable strains on the planet, it is a hybrid, but called a "pure" strain because of its stability.

There are so much crosses with skunk because of its stabillity, because you can get guaranteed traits brought over to many generations of offspring.

Why do you think skunk is unstable ???

Talk to Sam the skunkman ( but do not say it to his face. ), he hangs out sometimes on the cannabisworld and overgrow forums.

not trying to get people away from this forum though, this is a wicked site.
I havent actually looked much on the site itself, jumped straight to the forums, a bit silly.
I will check it out in a moment, and take some time to read the info...

I've used Skunk #1 alot for breeding. It always produced superb plants for me.As for the stability.......I cant say that the plants were all uniform and the same but, they were very similar.
