Unhappy Also I had to wait

Like 21 weeks for the pure male thai to mature on the first batch.
do u think with the mix of the indica it will be a shorter harvest time?

Hey theone,

I would think the indica mix would give you a shorter harvest but I'm no expert on breeding! Sounds like a good mix! Let me move you over to the expert breeders.

Later

you could call it "tight widow"
permalink

(thai-'t) Widow... hehe.. or White Thai and a Pink Carnation...

nevermind... anyway, unless you stabilized the white widow yourself into something relatively purebreeding, I would consider what you have to be more of a multi-way hybrid than a strict F1.
In regular horticulture, a LOT of work gets done in preceding generations before a commercial F1 hybrid is produced; the breeder knows that both parents will lend their traits very evenly to the F1. I would expect in a grow of 100 of your seeds to see probably a lot of variation in the traits coming from the Widow side of the cross, unless as I said you first got it to breed true for the traits you want from it.

In the end, if you look at the commercial seed biz it is clear that there are F1's and F1's.... by which I mean, you have probably done as much work as half the seedmakers out there (more, if you cound waiting for that Thai to finish ), and can call your cross whatever you want.

all just my opinion... thanks for the question!

Peace
