Ive never bred any type of plant before. That being said, heres my Q.

Say I have a skunk #1 female, and NL Male. I let the NL polinate the SKunk. The seeds made from this union, will those seeds now be Skunk #1 X NL?

Im just guessing here. I am curious about breeding. This is something I would really like to get into.

accually that would be NL x Skunk #1 with the male being first. But breeding is way more complicated than just bringing a couple of plants together... especially if you wanna do it right... there are enough sh1t breeders out there releasing there sh1t bread strains.

I know there is more to it, but hell I have to start somewhere.
I dont want to breed to sell seeds. Just as a hobby type thing.

So the concept I have is correct?

sup, i've heard that you can't breed strains from seed banks.. beacuse seed bank strains are mostly F1 hybrids, F1 hybrids are a cross between two true-breeding parents.

some people concider it er bunk science
but still kinda works

basically cubing is three backcrosses with the parent. meaning you plant wour ww seeds
save one fem as mom
breed best male with her
take those seeds.. plant them
get best male
mate with original mother.. this is called back crossing
then take the seeds from this mating
and plant
get best male
mate with original mom
this is called cubing
..
there is alot of problems and aguements with this method.. like sex determined dominate traits.. but that is basically it
