male plants that just start to show signs of sex, can they pollantate females? if thay are pulled out and left around the crop?

the male balls need to be mature.. pollen sacs can release pollen around the 3rd week of flowering.

if your males are pulled out before they open up there pods I dont think they will still open.. there process of producing pollen or pollination (opening there pods) would be killed.

What some do is mature there males in a seperate room of the females and once they have opened up there pods and dropped pollen it is collected in a salt shaker, or whatever, and the male is then chopped down for recycling.

thats a good expreriement though
